After discovering only recently that I am neurodivergent myself, I have realized how much I hated doing anything "business-y" in the past.
I had a hard time understanding and communicating with others in a business sense. Whether it was the lingo being used or simply feeling overwhelmed with too much information at once, I know that many neurodivergents tend to shy away from creating their own businesses because of this. This also leads us to struggle financially.
I am a neurodivergent-friendly business. You tell me what you need and how you'd like to communicate and we can make it happen. Do you prefer online appointments? GREAT! Do you need to do small and short meetings? That works for me! Do you need to take your time and process your options? I actually highly encourage that!
Business doesn't have to be a rush-rush process. It also doesn't have to follow the rules. Neurodivergents aren't good at that anyway, are we? We were built differently and think differently because we are meant to create a different world. So go on with your heart-centered self -- SHINE!
I have learned to start advocating for myself up front and let others know my needs in regard to communication and workflow. I highly encourage you to do the same with me.
