As you get to know me and my page, you will see that this business is dedicated mostly to the spiritual entrepreneur. While I am open to working with all denominations, I had to question where I stand on my beliefs. It is ever-changing. I believe I am an Omniist as I see God and the truth of the divine in everything and everyone. I don't really follow a set of rules or a particular religion or practice. However, a huge portion of my "spiritual upbringing" was founded in metaphysical and esoteric circles.
Despite labels, I do feel that my beliefs have found me being persecuted in past lives as well as my current life. How might this show up for you in business?
For those of you who know me, you remember how I went through a very significant h @ c_k of my social media accounts back in 2019. I lost everything. I'm only just now bouncing back. For a long time, I could not bring myself to start all over again. I felt defeated and like I had no voice. Recently, I realized that my silence is exactly what they wanted and, well, I am not known for conformity.
I feel I have had to remain hidden or small because the wisdom I have is considered dangerous to mainstream society. This has quite clearly already shown up for me in this life. I spoke out against the agendas and because of it, I was digitally punished. It was my fault for putting all of my eggs in one basket. I've learned about business the hard way, but I have grown tremendously because of it. I lost my business, my clients, my friends, my online classes, and worst of all ... my beloved memories.
This was, without a doubt, a means to control me and to silence me. It was a means to suppress my wisdom. Make no mistake -- modern-day witch hunts are still alive and well today. If you are going to start and own a spiritually-based business that does not follow the norm, you must be prepared to handle the backlash and do it with grace. We must not hit back with anger but with education, business smarts, and rising above the division and hate.
It took me five years to get back in the saddle. Granted, COVID played a huge role in this too. However, I recognize now that "The Witch Wound" is very real. Yet the fact of the matter is, that we can no longer afford to fear rejection, betrayal, humiliation, or condemnation. We have something to offer the world. We are bringing a more feminine way of doing business to this New Earth paradigm and that involves intuition over logic, as well as more cyclical thinking over linear thinking. We must embrace this change.
No longer will I be afraid to be "too woo."
How do you think the Witch Wound shows up for you in your business? To dive deeper into this wound, I highly suggest looking up Astrid Chaote through The Unleashed Lab. She has a fabulous course on this that I found very helpful. We must start supporting each other too. There is no competition here.
